Sherlock OS Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Sherlock OS, a reporting and SEO operations application operated by Sherlock SEO Agency (sherlockseo.com). By connecting an account to or otherwise using Sherlock OS, you agree to these Terms. Questions: info@sherlockseo.com.

1. The service

Sherlock OS collects advertising, search and analytics performance data from accounts you authorize and assembles it into reports, dashboards and insights for Sherlock SEO Agency and the clients it manages. Depending on the permissions granted and the integrations in use, Sherlock OScan also analyse data, make recommendations and carry out actions on the user's behalf — for example website content changes through credentials the site owner provides. The available capabilities differ per connected service and are always bounded by the authorizations granted.

2. Authorized use

  • You may connect only accounts that you own or are authorized to manage.
  • You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your authorization.
  • You may not use Sherlock OS to access data you are not entitled to, or in violation of any third-party terms (including Google’s).

3. Google API services

Sherlock OS connects (read-only) to Google APIs, including the Google Ads API, Google Search Console API and Google Analytics. Sherlock OS's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. How we handle data is described in our Sherlock OS Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, no unlawful use, and no use that infringes the rights of others. We may suspend access that threatens the security or integrity of the service.

5. Intellectual property

Sherlock OS, its software, and its report formats are the property of Sherlock SEO Agency. Your data remains yours; we process it only to provide the service as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Reporting data depends on third-party APIs and may be incomplete or delayed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sherlock SEO Agency is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

7. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. You may stop using the service and revoke access at any time via your Google Account permissions page.
